TENSA WAS HIRED BY IBERDROLA TO BUILD A HIGH VOLTAGE LINE IN SPAIN

TENSA, a Constructel Visabeira company based in Asturias, was hired by Iberdrola to build the High Voltage Line that will serve the “Virgen de los Areños III” photovoltaic solar park, located in Villalba de Guardo, in the Velilla del Rio region in Palencia, community of Castilla y Leon.

That new photovoltaic power plant is an investment by Iberdrola of 217 million euros, with the Spanish distributor forecasting the production of enough energy to supply 180,000 homes per year, thus avoiding the emission of 85,000 tons of C02 annually into the atmosphere.

The energy produced at the plant will be transported via a High Voltage Line that the TENSA teams have been building since the end of last December.
