Constructel Visabeira, through its English subsidiary MJ Quinn, was part of the exclusive group of guests at the dinner that celebrated the 650th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of London between England and Portugal, an event which took place at the Cavalry & Guards Club in central London.

The event, which had as its guest of honour the President of the Portuguese Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, Honorary President of the Council of the Portuguese Diaspora, was attended by the Portuguese Minister of Foreign Affairs, João Gomes Cravinho. The Treaty of London dinner was promoted by the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in the United Kingdom and the Portuguese Diaspora Council.

With a strong presence in the areas of telecommunications and energy network engineering, Constructel Visabeira has been establishing itself as the largest Portuguese company in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The importance of this position, of which the English subsidiary MJ Quinn is a part, was the reason for the association with this historical moment that, once again, evoked the Treaty of London, also known as the Treaty of Peace, Friendship and Alliance signed between King Edward III of England, King Ferdinand and Queen Leonor of Portugal, 650 years ago.

The dinner, limited to 100 guests, was attended by Nuno Terras Marques and Fernando Daniel Nunes, CEO and Constructel Visabeira's Board Member respectively, among other members of the Portuguese Diaspora Council, members of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in the United Kingdom and other business and academic leaders from both countries.

MJ Quinn was founded in 1978 and is 100% owned by Constructel Visabeira, a subsidiary of Grupo Visabeira.
