Constructel Belgium was praised by the Belgian operator Proximus for all the work it has been carrying out in installing optical fibre in the country, especially in the city of Brussels.
Constructel, one of the main European players in telecommunications and energy network engineering, took optical fibre to around 33,000 homes across the country in 2021, the Proximus partner that most contributed to achieving that goal in the capital city.
To recognize the work of Constructel Belgium, and to publicize the arrival of optical fibre, Proximus established a partnership with Emilie Liégeois, one of the main Belgian influencers today, who posted it on Instagram.
In the video she published, the influencer “became” a Constructel technician, having been shot manoeuvring a mini excavator and climbing on a company cherry picker. In addition several plans of the work carried out by Constructel Belgium´s employees when installing fibre are shown.

Constructel Belgium will bring optical fibre to more than 240,000 homes in Belgium, as part of the Panda© project with Proximus.
Meanwhile, Fiberklaar, the company resulting from the joint venture created between Proximus and Delta Fiber for the Flanders region, has already allocated over 40 thousand houses to Constructel Belgium for installing cabling.
This large number of houses to be installed contributes to a portfolio of over 280 thousand homes that Constructel Belgium will take optical fibre to in the coming years.
