O encontro geral da direção e gestão de projeto da Divisão de Rede Móvel da Viatel decorreu, recentemente, no Montebelo Vista Alegre Ílhavo Hotel, um dos mais prestigiados hotéis do Grupo Visabeira. Entre os presentes esteve Jorge Sousa, Business Manager para a área de Wireless e Infraestruturas Críticas da Constructel Visabeira e administrador da Visabeira Global, a maior holding do Grupo Visabeira.

A reunião de quadros teve como principal objetivo planear a estratégia de negócio da Divisão de Rede Móvel em Portugal nas suas diversas áreas de atividade. A reunião permitiu facilitar a colaboração entre toda a estrutura, desde a direção à gestão de projetos e engenharia.

Os diretores, Renato Ferreira (infraestruturas), Marco Rocha (rádio), Rui Pereira Mendes (energias) e Tiago Mónica (tecnologias), apresentaram os resultados da operação do primeiro semestre de 2023, tendo a oportunidade de alinhar estratégias futuras em conjunto com toda a equipa.

Neste momento os principais projetos da Divisão de Rede Móvel em Portugal são a construção de estações-base de telecomunicações móveis, a implementação das redes de rádio 5G, projetos de eficiência energética e instalação de diversas infraestruturas e tecnologias no segmento das telecomunicações, incluindo os sectores ferroviário e militar.

The recent general meeting of directors and project managers of Viatel’s Mobile Network Division took place at the Montebelo Vista Alegre Ílhavo Hotel, one Grupo Visabeira’s most prestigious hotels. Among those in attendance were Jorge Sousa, Wireless and Critical Infrastructures Business Manager at Constructel Visabeira and Board Member of Visabeira Global, Grupo Visabeira’s most extensive holding.

The primary objective of this gathering was to strategize a comprehensive plan for the Mobile Network's operations in Portugal across its diverse activity sectors. The meeting facilitated collaboration among the entire management team, project managers, and engineering professionals.

During the session, directors Renato Ferreira (Infrastructure), Marco Rocha (Radio), Rui Pereira Mendes (Energy), and Tiago Mónica (Technology) presented the operational outcomes for the first half of 2023. They also engaged in discussions to align future strategies with the broader team.

Currently, Mobile Network Division’s key projects in Portugal include the construction of mobile telecommunications base stations, the rollout of 5G radio networks, energy efficiency initiatives, and the deployment of various telecommunication infrastructures and technologies, including the railway and military sectors.
